Our Purpose
Crooms Academy of Information Technology solicits outstanding students to become Student Ambassadors and spread the good news of Crooms to visitors and guests. The Student Ambassadors demonstrate their leadership skills while sharing information about Crooms with potential students, parents, and the business community.

Our Responsibilities:
  • Be readily available to assist in recruitment of incoming 9th graders.
  • Dress in business attire during tours and special events. Crooms uniform to be worn neatly and properly (Mon.- Fri.).
  • Maintain good grades, attendance and behavioral record. Come to school daily. Be ready to begin when bell rings. Notify instructor of absences and arrange for make-up work.
  • Demonstrate good work habits. Be responsible. Meet deadlines. Be organized.
  • Develop communication skills including speaking, listening, eye contact, writing, body language, asking questions and accepting criticism.
  • Be a team player.
  • Smile and have a positive attitude.
  • Know faculty/staff and curriculum guide.

Peer Mentoring
Student Ambassadors, in conjunction with the Leadership class, participate in the Panther Pals Program. Each ambassador is assigned a freshman and meet regularly with their mentee to help them get acclimated to Crooms AoIT.
